My wife and I love little weekend getaways and this hotel has very quickly become our go-to. The rooms are always clean and tidy. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Fiefdom Alert- Great location, good facilities. Easy from 495 stretch of road. After 8 hours of driving in snow, this hotel was the perfect 2 am respite. Love 9/10 feautures. When you use hotels often, you know when it is time for a staff meeting. Poor teamwork. Why do hotel staff not know how much we love and need breakfast? We were the only people in the lobby/meal area. When breakfast is open until 9:30 am, it means 9:30! Not 9:20. I watched the tray of bagels get wisked away, just as I arrived. They saved a dollar, perhaps got to the break room 10 minutes sooner, but ruined my morning. Asking the desk, still before time, led to texts back and forth between staff, but still no bagel. Helen, at front desk was helpful on several items during our stay, but clearly didn't have the influence to get through to the self-important breakfast staff to take corrective action. Last month in NJ, a similar circumstance, the staff smiled, and made it right.
